A new display is up at the Greenwood County Historical Society highlighting one of our newest acquisitions. The fire chief’s hat belonging to Dick “Cap” Souders was donated by his great-grandson, Mason Branstetter, and is prominently placed in the display along with other memorabilia and photos from his tenure a member, and later fire chief, of the Eureka Fire Department.
Additional photos and other artifacts from our permanent collection are included in the display.
The Greenwood County Historical Society Museum is open Monday – Friday from 10 – 4. We invite you to come visit us and see this display as well as many other items of interest from Greenwood County.
